Sales Intern
Learn how B2B cloud sales works by supporting our sales team with research, outreach, and deal preparation.
About Cloud Numericals
Cloud Numericals helps engineering and finance teams cut their cloud bills by up to 30%, at zero cost, across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We operate an enterprise-grade financial platform that manages a large portfolio of cloud commitments, unlocking savings most teams can't access alone. Customers keep 100% of the savings, with no architecture changes. We're a small, remote team, so everyone's work shows up directly in what customers save.
About the role
As a Sales Intern, you'll learn how B2B technology sales works from the inside. You'll support our sales team with research, outreach, and deal preparation, and you'll join real conversations with engineering and finance leaders.
You don't need prior sales experience. We're looking for curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn. You'll have a dedicated mentor and regular feedback throughout the internship.
What you’ll do
Research
- Research target companies and identify the people who make cloud and infrastructure decisions there.
- Summarise company background, cloud usage signals, and likely priorities before sales calls.
Outreach support
- Help build outreach lists and draft personalised messages for review.
- Keep CRM records clean, complete, and up to date.
Learning on the job
- Join sales calls, take notes, and learn how deals move from first conversation to signed agreement.
- Take on a small project, such as a market or competitor analysis, and present your findings to the team.
What you'll learn
- How B2B sales works end to end, from prospecting and qualification to proposals and closing.
- The fundamentals of cloud computing and how companies pay for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- How to research companies, write effective outreach, and use a CRM professionally.
- How to communicate clearly and confidently with senior business and technical leaders.
What we’re looking for
- Currently studying, or recently graduated, in business, marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Curious, organized, and eager to learn.
- Reliable, with the ability to manage your own time while working remotely.
Nice to have
- Any customer-facing experience, such as retail, tutoring, or student societies.
- Interest in cloud computing or technology startups.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and online research tools.
What we offer
- Fully remote work, with flexible hours and a few hours of daily overlap for collaboration.
- Real ownership from day one. Your work directly shapes what customers save.
- A small, senior team that shares knowledge openly and gives regular, direct feedback.
- Support for relevant certifications, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and FinOps Foundation.
- Exposure to how cloud pricing, commitments, and FinOps work at enterprise scale.
- Room to grow as the company grows, with scope that expands as you're ready for it.
